Microsoft gets new manager

David Frantík is the new corporate solutions manager at Microsoft Dynamics. He will be responsible for the sales, marketing and technical activities of the entire division. Previously, Frantík was the customer care division director at the company. Before joining Microsoft in 2004, he worked in managerial posts at IBM Business Consulting Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Integrated Control Systems.

He holds a degree from the Brno University of Technology (VUT).
International logistics firm APM Global Logistics, which operates under the brands Damco and Maersk Logistics, has two new managers in its Central European cluster. The company’s new human resource manager is Jiřina Kudláčková, previously a senior consultant at Maersk Czech Republic.

Rogier Thuijs was named the company’s finance manager. Previously, he worked at the Netherlands-based A.P. Moller Maersk Group, where he held several financial positions over the past seven years. Most recently, Thuijs worked as the financial manager of Maersk Line.
In their new positions, Kudláčková and Thuijs will be responsible for implementing HR and financial processes to accommodate the expansion of Damco and Maersk Logistics.
Pavel Šafránek was appointed public relations manager and spokesman of communications firm Asseco. In his new position, he will be responsible for the creation and development of PR strategy, external communications and media relations. Prior to his appointment, Šafránek worked as a spokesman for PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a consultant at B.I.G. communications agency. Šafránek holds a degree in social geography and regional development from the University of Ostrava.

Real estate development firm EUBE is expanding to Moravia. Martin Čajda, 43, has been named the company’s director in the region. He will be responsible for managing residential projects in Opava, Frýdek-Místek, Olomouc and Ostrava. For the past eight years, Čajda worked at the Brno branch of IPB Real, which later merged with Orco Property Group. During his career, he participated in the development of such projects as the Masaryk Oncological Institute in Brno. He holds a degree in engineering from VUT.
Markus Fritz was appointed director of operations at the Hilton Prague. He replaces Ilio Rodoni, who was promoted to the position of general manager at the Hilton Milan. Previously, Fritz worked at the Hilton Sofia, where he was director of operations since 2006. Austrian-born Fritz has been developing his career from Front Office and Yield/Reservations Management and occupies the director of operations position for the second time. Before joining Hilton ten years ago, he worked and lived in European cities including London, Vienna, Cologne and Sofia. He holds degrees from the Austrian College Bad Hofgastein and the College of Tourism and Hotel Management Bad Ischl.
