A new voice for Volný

Alžběta Šťástná is the new spokeswoman and PR manager of the Czech branch of Telekom Austria, which operates under the name Volný.
She replaces Michaela Hajná, who is on maternity leave. Before joining Telekom Austria, Šťástná, 28, worked as a senior account executive at the PR agency Pleon Impact, where she was responsible for clients in the financial sector. Previously, she worked as a project manager at CzechInvest, where she managed Hibachi/Panasonic/Toshiba, one of the agency’s largest investment projects.Šťástná holds an MBA in European management from the University of New York in Prague, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Media Studies at Charles University.Eva Karasová has been named the new corporate affairs coordinator of Tesco Stores’ legal and corporate affairs department.
In the new position she will be responsible for media relations, events management, and CSR support.Before joining Tesco Stores, Karasová worked at Ciszewski Public Relations for one year and AC&C Public Relations for the previous six years. Her clients included T-Mobile, Nokia and Hypoteční banka. A graduate of Charles University’s Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Karasová also worked as a reporter for financial weeklies Profit and Strategie.Canadian-born Martin Coté has joined the RPG Real Estate Group’s top management as the company’s new director of development.
Among his main responsibilities will be finding opportunities for a more effective utilization of the company’s land portfolio.In his previous position, Coté worked as the senior development director of industrial and residential project developers Giffels Management Limited.Coté began his professional career in 1997 at the Royal Bank Financial Group, where he worked as a personal banking consultant and a manager of personal financial services. In 2002, he joined aviation company CAE Inc., where he stayed until 2004 as a supply chain development team manager.He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
